Rather than chasing the perfect group photo of everyone smiling at once, Bethany focuses on something more flexible and timeless. Sessions are shaped around individual portraits and natural moments between two people — siblings, parent and child, or even just one child quietly lost in thought. The images are then designed to sit together beautifully as a set — allowing every person to be shown at their best.

There’s no pressure, no time limit, and no expectation that children should perform. We simply let them settle into the space, explore, play, and be themselves — while we capture something quietly extraordinary. 

We approach family portraiture this way because it’s what we’d want on our own walls — not just a record of how someone looked, but a sense of their presence.
